This explains what we do with your personal information when you use greenstuff.energy. We have tried to keep it plain.

Who we are

The Green Stuff London Ltd, trading as Green Stuff (company number 16116106), is the controller of your information. Our registered office is 809 Salisbury House, 29 Finsbury Circus, London EC2M 7AQ. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@greenstuff.energy.

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us:

• your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
• your message, if you use the contact form;
• your postcode and your answers to the eligibility checker, if you send us an enquiry after using it.

The checker works in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us unless you press "Book my free survey" and submit your details.

Why we use it

To reply to you, to tell you which schemes could help your home, and to arrange a survey if you ask for one. Our legal reasons are that you asked us to take steps before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our services. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell them.

Who sees it

Our team, and the companies that host this website and run our email. If you go ahead with work, we will share what is needed with the installers, surveyors and funding scheme administrators involved, and we will tell you before we do. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above and as the law requires. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our text is set in Bricolage Grotesque and DM Sans, which your browser loads from Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

If we add analytics or anything else that sets cookies in future, we will ask first and update this page.
